Why Should I get Vivos Therapuetics?

Unlike other sleep apnea devices like CPAP machines, surgical implants, or snoring appliances, the Vivos System allows Dr. Seto to treat the root underlying causes of airway obstruction directly!

This is done by gradually expanding the patient’s palate over time, creating the necessary room in your mouth and airway to breathe more comfortably throughout the night.

By improving your overall sleep cycle, patients are better able to get the rest and rejuvenation that you need to be healthy as well as improve immune system function and even mood! Additionally, by treating sleep apnea directly, you are at a lesser risk for developing cardiovascular problems and type 2 diabetes

What Can I Expect To Happen If I Get The Vivos System?

Patients can expect to first get a comprehensive sleep wellness assessment with their medical provider. This includes an overview of your health history, a series of photographs and measurements, and an in-home sleep study using advanced biometric measuring technology. Your team will use this data to arrive at a diagnosis to determine if Vivos is right for you.

Your team will then proceed to acquire the precise measurements of both your hard and soft tissues which compose your airway. This is done using a combination of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and a three-dimensional oral scanner. This data is then submitted for an analysis using Vivos’ airway diagnostic algorithm.

This algorithm determines your specific treatment plan and provides a step-by-step path to correct for your underlying issues and thereby relieve the symptoms of obstructive sleep apnea.

Finally, Dr, Seto will prescribe a custom oral appliance which you will wear during your sleep for an estimated period of between 12-24 months.

When Will I Notice a Change in my Sleeping?

Most patients feel the effects of treatment within the first few days or weeks.

During treatment, periodic adjustments to your appliance are made by your treating dentist, who often works in close collaboration with a medical sleep specialist. Upon completion of treatment, many patients do not require further intervention.

What is Discussed During the Airway Intelligence Report?

You can expect the following to get covered in your Airway Intelligence Report:

  • Complete Assessment and Evaluation
  • Airway Measurements
  • Treatment Goals
  • Treatment Plan
  • Health Insurance + Financing
What Can I Expect During Treatment?
